“Everything flows and nothing abides; everything gives way and nothing stays fixed” —unknown
The future is fluid.
Fluid is a cultural programming stream created by Neighbor, a Black queer-led healing justice nonprofit that activates our local communities at the intersections of art, education, and spirituality as pathways to liberation. Fluid makes room for what doesn’t fit into rigid molds. It honors the complexity, expansiveness, and brilliance of our people.
What Is Fluid?
FLUID FEST AUG 29 - AUG 31
FLUID FEST AUG 29 - AUG 31
This Labor Day Weekend, during Black Pride, Fluid becomes Fluid Fest - a neighborhood-rooted celebration of joy, healing, and collective care that leaves our people feeling full: Emotionally, spiritually, and creatively.

Day One
The Atlanta Sex Museum is a cultural, educational, and entertainment institution curating a collaborative sex-positive experience depicted through visual art, historic exhibitions, and interactive, sexual and sensual demonstrations curated by sex workers and artists who have been the bedrock of Atlanta Sex Culture. ASM entertains and arouses as much as it inspires, educates, and informs our members and guests in ways that will ignite and sustain the flame of individual sexual empowerment and collective sexual (R)evolution.

Day Two
Katharsis Yoga, a powerful blend of movement, breath, and creative expression. Rooted in yoga asana and art therapy, this inclusive practice centers QTBIPOC experiences and fosters a deep mind-body connection. Through flowing sequences, meditative art activities, aromatherapy, and sound, Katharsis offers a space to release, reflect, and reconnect. Step into this mindful, multi-sensory experience and leave inspired, grounded, and renewed.
The Current
The Current, like water, our identities, relationships, and communities are in constant motion—shaped by history, environment, and the force of our own becoming. The Current is a community conversation space at FluidFest, designed to move away from the typical panel model and toward a collective exchange of ideas.
Instead of a stage of “experts” speaking to an audience, the room will be alive with multiple tables, each hosting a different topic—like gender beyond the binary, the evolving dynamics of Black femininity and masculinity, blended queer families, and more. Participants can flow between conversations at their own pace, spending as much or as little time at each table as they wish.
In this way, The Current invites everyone to be a contributor, a listener, and a co-creator. We’ll gather the thoughts and visions shared at each table into a collective reflection, honoring that our wisdom is communal and that liberation grows when we all have a voice in shaping it.
Line Dance & Denim at Trade & Tempo, a Black queer–owned creative space in Atlanta. This high-energy, all-levels class blends the joy of group movement with the rhythm of country, soul, and community connection. Whether you’re a seasoned stepper or brand new, you’ll learn simple, fun routines that get everyone moving together. Come for the music, stay for the camaraderie, and celebrate the spirit of dance in a space that uplifts and embraces all.
